Welcome to The Mad River Club

The Mad River Club offers quality hunting, fishing and trapping opportunities to its membership. We pride ourselves in our awareness and involvement in the issues that concern all sportsmen. The Mad River club is believed to be the second oldest sportsmen's club in New York State having been incorporated in 1894. Our club has over 300 members. We currently lease or own over 16,000 acres in New York State. Our primary properties are located in Oswego County and on the Tug Hill Plateau. We also lease a parcel in the southern tier.

Directions to the MRC Williamstown Property

• From the village of Redfield go approx. 3 miles south on Rte. 27 to Teachout Rd aka Florence Hill Rd
• Right on Teachout Rd
• Approximately 1 mile look for a gate on the left side of road and MRC posters. That is a several acre parcel with a beaver pond and a old camp. Previous to this gate on opposite side of the road there is a brief area where the property line is posted and come along the side of the road
• Stay on Teachout Rd take your first right on Rte. 19. On this road there are at least two gates to the property. 
• Continue on this road to the next road (dirt) that takes a right (Bartley Rd). Turn right there and look for MRC posters. If you continue on this road it will take you to CR 17 and back to Redfield.

Head west on NY-13 S/Main St toward Cheningo Rd, 49 feet turn left onto Cheningo Rd, 4.7 mile turn left onto Cheningo Solon Pond Rd. Destination will be on the left, 3.7 miles,  Freeman Rd Cincinnatus, NY 13040
